First research paper LymphChip published

Ulgu Arslan, Christine Mummery, Valeria Orlova and co-authors have published the first research paper of LymphChip entitled “Vascularized hiPSC-derived 3D cardiac microtissue on chip”.

The paper has been published in Stem Cell Reports and is publicly available. This paper was also featured on the cover of the July 11, 2023 issue.

Midterm Self-evaluation LymphChip

Three NWA-ORC consortia: BioClock, LOSS and LymphChip met November 25 at the Lorentz Center in Leiden for a midterm self-evaluation to work towards societal impact. During the day best practices, challenges, needs and actions were discussed by young and senior researchers and by representatives from co-funding and cooperation partners.

On November 22, Hans Bouwmeester, PI in LymphChip presented his inaugural lecture entitled: “Is complexity always better? Connecting cells to systems in toxicology”. Within LymphChip, Hans Bouwmeester takes the lead in the development of an immunocompetent Intestine-on-chip model.
